Tage Åsén is one of the  most interesting swedish painters of the twentieth-century, his paintings are ingenious and his technical details has a brilliance that lead our thoughts to the great masters.

With humor and intelligence he takes us on an interesting journey through a landscape of exotic and traditional stories.

His paintings are irreverent surrealistic expressions at it´s best, sometimes described as social surrealism, but he also paints landscapes and urban environments of their own character.

Tage have been working with drawings, prints and painting for over 50 years, and still produce his best work ever.

He has had many solo exhibitions through the years, but also together with other great artists like the well-known Cobra group.

In addition to all his paintings he have also made several covers for records and books. Among others for the famous swedish music group Samla Mammas Manna and the swedish writer Göran Tunström.

Tage has in cooperation with Internardes decided to produce a few exclusive high end museum quality print series with only 15 to 30 numbered prints in each edition.

Internardes are proud that we got the possibility and the confidence to work with such a great artist as Tage Åsen and his fantastic world of art.
